I haven't heard of this type of card until your post. How / where are they numbered?

Doug, it's super hard to see but the numbering is across the "Dodgers" piping on his jersey. It's gold colored. Layton Sports Cards open these cases every year-they look like something out of Miami Vice. I highly recommend watching a box break you wouldn't believe some of the stuff inside.
