Larry, just so you know.Card #10 has at least 2 known different premium backs. So you may be looking for two copies of that card. I do not believe that any of the other ones have different premium backs.

What other Lucky Premium back is on card #10? https://www.net54baseball.com/pictur...ictureid=28178https://www.net54baseball.com/pictur...ictureid=28179 |
The '54 and '55 Parkhurst Wrestling cards are really fun to collect. Nice big cards and not to expensive.
I think my favorite card has to be #36 Bo Bo Brazil. I grew up in Southern California and after our Tuesday night Boy Scout meetings I would rush home to watch Roller Derby (LA T-Birds) and Wrestling. Bo Bo Brazil was always one of my favorites. Somehow I've managed to acquire a duplicate Bo Bo card with the Lucky Premium back. Bo Bo Brazil WWF Hall of Fame Class of 1994 https://www.net54baseball.com/pictur...ictureid=28180 |
I bought a 1954 parkhurst set years ago and looked at the back of my Bobo Brazil and realized that he had signed it. I got it slabbed by PSA DNA. The seller did not even realize as it was signed on the back of the card.

I have some low grade singles if anyone is looking for some

My Lucky Premium #10 had a camera offer on it too.

Thanks WrestlingCardKing for all the great info!
It's always fun to dig back into these cards. Oh and don't forget to check the backs of your Lucky Premium cards that might be stamped "VALUABLE CARD" "DAVY CROCKETT'S" POTATO CHIPS REG'D" (I think only the Lucky Premium cards are stamped?) Larry,I do not have any of the 1954 that are stamped but I have quite a few from the 1955 set that are stamped.

Here are the backs that I have. The Davy Crockett card is card #30 from the 1955-56 set. The Binoculars back is #75 and the Camera back is #48.

I have had he top graded Parkhurst wrestling set on the registry for the last seven years.
There are biography backs from 1954 that have the stamped backs. I have some. I listed them on ebay a long time ago and I did not get bids on the lot. I will have to find them. I am happy to know that others are collecting the set. |
thumbing through my 1955 set I have five stamped cards.

I am letting go one of my graded 1954 parkhurst wrestling sest....all 75 cards are graded and if two of the cards are replaced with mid-grade cards it would be the second best graded set in existence. I have two cards holding it back with a 2 and 3 and just 5s would be enough or even 4s (i think). If anyone has any spare graded parkies let me know. I am always looking to buy or trade.

which two do you need to upgrade?
