Seeing that pic strikes such a chord, because my '55 Bowman Mantle is very similar and also got a PSA 3. These cards seem clearly better than that (assuming yours has no wrinkles too). PSA appears to often do the same thing with '71 Topps too. Way too brutal on minor damage to mid-grade dark border cards.

This one is wrinkle/crease free, but it has a wax stain on the back from the pack. So that's why it probably got a 3. I'm hoping it can sell, but I haven't had any luck yet. I'll just leave it at that.

Beautiful card. I finally got one this year... not quite as nice but I love it.

Not as nice as a 3? That's about the bottom of the barrell when it comes to grades. I'm not even sure why I bought a 3, but I did. Apparently not many others want 3s either. I'm having a hard time moving it. I haven't even gotten any offers on it (I got one for $25 and one for $140 on ebay, but I turned them both down).
