I think 1919 was Sherry Magee's last year in the majors. Off the bench for the Reds...

Benz did pitch for the White Sox in 1919, but wasn't on the World Series roster.

Two of my Favorite Signed Cards
|
Black Sox
Those Cicottes are great sir, especially the front signed. Nice items so far guys keep them coming. Although not a card, this 1916 notebook does present much like an oversized M-104 card.

The Tom Barker/National Game cards are definitely underrated, and the Joe Jackson from the set has one of my favorite images of him. When I look at his card it is like Joe is trying to decipher what I am thinking.

Great items guys, really enjoy seeing the historical parts of the game. Keep them coming..... Might as well get them all in one shot, Boston Post Sept. 1920, Jackson and Cicotte had just spilled the beans to the Cooks County Grand Jury.

Fantastic newspaper Murph!
|
Thanks Jeff, always like seeing the historical parts of the hobby. This Black Sox newspaper looks great next to the 1905 Detroit Tribune paper featuring our boy Ty Cobb fresh off the 1`st 41 games of his long and storied career.
