INDISPUTABLE EVIDENCE of PWCC selling trimmed cards!!
https://www.ebay.com/itm/352988401162?ul_noapp=true
But on a serious note - has anyone ever seen them sell a card like this before? |
Didn't realize PSA wouldn't grade cards for being trimmed :D
The submitter must of written on the submission form '-------> THIS CARD IS TRIMMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!%@*&^% THAT MEANS PART OF IT HAS BEEN CUT OFF!!!!! Do NOT GRADE! I REPEAT: DOOOOOO NOOOOOT GRAAAAAAADEEEE!!!!' The submitter probably had to submit it a second time to get it not graded. |

Ultimately up to the consignors whether to proceed with auction I imagine. |
They have more than 1 listing for a trimmed card:

Maybe these are trimmed cards that were returned to them for being sold under false pretenses. Perhaps more will surface, as they attempt to "cut their losses" and get what they can for these cards (this time, with honest disclosure).
Another possibility is that by doing this type of honest disclosure, it makes them look better in the eyes of law enforcement. Perhaps it was Lichtman's idea, to make it appear that their listings are now "on the up and up". Similar to how PWCC magically started accepting returns shortly after Lichtman was hired as their attorney. |
delete.... I guess 196,000 threads are enough

ya ya Kevin...we know...PWCC is laughing...ha...ha...ha.
IMO...PWCC is making an attempt to be able to show the judge/court that they are not the evil crooks that they really are. |
I tend to side with Mark and Pete.
I use to follow PWCC quite often, or up until the last year, year and half and, IIRC, this is the first time I have ever seen them sell cards like this with this type of disclosure. |
