Looks fishy to me

I do not post here very often...I know that Deans cards is not a popular seller here. Just came across this today it is sales for 1952 Topps 189 Canadian or Gray back Pete Reiser in a PSA 5.
First sale is a BIN for $2,750 on 8/31/17 to buyer y***o appears the sale did not happen 2nd sale is again a BIN now nor $40,000 on 9/8/17 to the same buyer y***o Why would you let the same person buy again? Now the card goes up for a regular auction on 9/25/17 and gets 4 bids and sells for $11,100 I am betting that y***o is a person at deans and this is pure price manipulation. https://www.net54baseball.com/attach...1&d=1583007960 |
Does Dean’s ever have any real transactions? Almost every card he has listed is approximately 1.5 to 2.0 times its true market value.

I've sadly arrived at the conclusion that Dean-o may very well be omnipotent. It doesn't seem to matter how many different ways I spell his name as part of my 'ignore' function on ebay, his crap still gets right on through...as if he's able to will it to happen.
This is what it usually looks like: -(dean, deans, deen, deens, dean's, deen's, dane, dane's, danes, dena, dena's, denas, edna, edna's, ednas) Perhaps I need to start adding more descriptive terms to the mix, like "complete and utter rip-off"?? |

I remember this specific listing(s) and there was a post about in on the postwar side: https://www.net54baseball.com/showth...ghlight=reiser

I remembered that too; the original sale was cancelled and shouldn't show up in your Sold listings. Maybe there's a flaw with eBay still reporting it as a valid sale, and VCP should remove any listing not paid for or refunded.
