First Father-Son Card Show!

1 Attachment(s)
Well today was the day - took my 9 month old to his first card show at our local (very local) mall here in small town Wisconsin. Obviously he won't remember, but I sure will and loved every minute of it!

Grabbed these two for his collection - $45 for the pair, I thought that was a pretty good start.

Glad to see he is sticking with the Vintage!

Many good shows to come I'm sure. Thanks for sharing

His first words are going to be, "It looks trimmed." :D

Well isn't that cool. T206 is the way to go.

I'll be moving to Madison, WI this summer...looking for what the Midwest has to offer.

Why? LOL

Seriously, Madison is a very diverse and culturally interesting town but just stay off of the beltline during morning and evening rush. You will get nowhere fast!!

Good question lol. Because my GF's got me whipped.

But at least I'm employed as of last month.

Matt seems like a good time.
Hopefully you took a picture or 2 of the lad at the show

I hope this is the first of many for you and your son!

Hey that is cool!

I have two little ones (5 year old boy, 2 year old girl) but haven't gotten them into baseball cards yet.

I did play catch with my son for the first time last year though, which was an amazing thing to do. Something else for you to look forward to in the near future :D

Very cool. Nice pickups too. No age is too young to collect. Your 9 month old could probably chew on a card or two for a good time. Who needs bubblegum!!
