Another "Home on the Waterfront" moment towards the Billion Dollar Fraud
Enjoy Mr Waterfront boy!
https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1352321 How ridiculous can you get? This card collecting stuff is for blithering idiots and scam artists. |
This is a very poor trim job. Look how much got trimmed off the left border!

Two more "Waterfront" Cards you can add to the list...
1958 Bobby Hull 1934 Lou Gehrig vvvvvvvvv LINK BELOW vvvvvvvvv https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1352577 Really disturbing to see these beautiful cards butchered. :( |
So what does "Waterfront" mean when describing cards? its a new one for me, despite being in this hobby for incredibly too long...
|
Please stop saying waterfront. I can't stand that term

You just have a few members here and there casually using the phrase, some of which are more active and vocal than others, so it creates this illusion of it being a hobby term. It's supposed to imply "marquee" or "highly sought after" or "expensive" or "popular", similar to a waterfront property, conflating cards with real estate and blurring the lines between collecting and investing. |

I used to read this forum for years prior to joining and I saw the term "waterfront" being thrown around quite a bit, and that's why I started using it here. Anyways, I am going to stop because it is starting to drive some of you crazy!

I believe one of the other resident idiots "Coined" the term waterfront some time ago. As ridiculous as it was, it is still used today only on these boards
|
WOW, that's a lot of material off the left side, let alone the others. What a shame for such an already beautiful card.

No apparent end to this fraud, as it approaches a _illion dollars. You guys can fill in the blank, as it surpassed the letter "M" eons ago). |
more alternate truth. trimmed cards
More great detective work. If this hobby / business is to survive, these crooks must be ferreted out.
Those saying it doesn't matter, are like the ones who jumped off bridges in '29 when they didn't heed the warnings. |
billion dollar waterfront
It's also iconic |

Can you elaborate on which one you think is not altered? |

Hull it doesn’t appear to be trimmed to me. Look at the borders sizes. All of them to me they all look the same. Full not trimmed. The corners have the same wear in the 6 St and SGC 88 it’s the same card I agree to that I do not believe it’s trimmed. Did they lay down corners yes.....would like to see in my hand the thinness of the paper at the corners. I 100% believe this card hasn’t been trimmed |
