General Question about Album for Large Size Cards
Hey All,
As some of you might know from previous posts, I'm getting back into collecting after having taken some time away from the hobby, and instead of slabbed cards I'm going to go after raw cards I can collect in albums. I mainly do '52s, but also am starting on 56s. Even though I'm buying raw, I still go for as nice a card as I can find/afford, and this raises a question I'd love to hear your opinions on: Do album pages provide sufficient protection/support for the large size Topps cards? Do I need to be concerned about the risk for creasing my cards if I store them in pages that can be easily turned? Are albums the wisest choice if I'm concerned about protecting my raw cards, or should I consider something else? Thanks all! BR |
For smallish sets like the early 50s Topps sets, I like the 4 pocket pages with the card in Card Saver 1s in the pockets. Looks really good and gives an extra layer of protection.

Oh that's a brilliant idea! I'll definitely look into that one!

I would also add that Superior Fit sleeves sized for Card Saver 1s keep them from slipping out.
