2 Attachment(s)
According to T206Resource, the Jennings, One-Hand. Brown Lenox is a possible, but unconfirmed combo. Thanks Ricky.
Well, its now confirmed. Anyone know who I contact to update that list? |
Awesome card, congrats on landing it!

Lenox
Great card!
David Hall has a Psa 1. It’s not in the Psa database but I believe it’s coming up for sale soon. |

Check-out my thread Post #171.... http://www.net54baseball.com/showthr...=237816&page=4 Back in Sept 5, 2019......I listed confirmation of a Brown LENOX Jennings (one hand). TED Z T206 Reference . |

Congrats my friend!
wow! you are one of my favorite collectors :D:D:D:D a true class act if no one knows you.....:):):):):):) a few others of your caliber- Adam Goldenberg...another stand up guy and true friend to me.... keeps me collecting:) |
Ted, thanks for updating your list; I believe this is the same one.
Johnny, Jeff and BigFish, thanks for the kind words (Happy New Year Johnny). BigFish -- I have been able to find a PSA 1 Jennings, One Hand, Black Lenox sold in memory lane in 2017, but I am unaware of any other Browns. If Hall does indeed have one and it goes up for sale, I may have to buy and destroy it so mine is again a 1 of 1 (joke!) |

Incredible looking card!! Interestingly, this card combo was not on his list. Maybe he found one right before he decided to sell the collection. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
|
Ted et al,
Looks like 24 poses confirmed. I assume most cards are 1/1, (with some maybe having 2 examples of each?)...So, any idea how many Brown Lenox exist in total? |
Michael, I am not sure that's a correct statement: that all Brown Lenox are 1 of 1's. You know personally that McQuillan is not, and both Joe Lake with ball and Merkle throwing are at least 1 of 2.
In my experience, most Brown old mills have counterparts too. I understand the many difference between the Brown old mill and Brown lenox, but one similarity they appear to share (besides being crazy rare) is that (I think) most have at least a twin; whether that twin still exists is another story/question. |
Ryan, didn’t say ALL are 1/1, just that I assumed most were, with some twinning happening...If all had twins, assuming, then we’d be around 50 cards total. If 3, around 75, etc. Just wanted to get some opinions on total population.

Gotcha. I defer to Ted and others on that one.

Brown LENOX
Hey guys,
Years ago, my research indicated these 350/460 Series subjects shown here would eventually be discovered with the Brown LENOX back. To date, 18 (of 28) have been confirmed. Pardon me for boasting.....so far, all together I have predicted 24 of 37. I am "batting 1.000"…..but, I ain't going to reveal my secret. :) 350/460 series....Group B .http://photos.imageevent.com/tedzan7...14cards13x.jpg .http://photos.imageevent.com/tedzan7...14cards13x.jpg 350/460 series...…...Subjects in bold lettering are unconfirmed as of today. Berger Bradley (bat) Burch (fielding) Cobb (bat off shoulder) Conroy (bat) Crawford (bat) Jennings (one hand) Jennings (two hands) Jordan (bat) Lajoie (bat) Lake (no ball) Leach (cap) Leifield (bat) Manning (pitching) Mullin (bat) McQuillan (bat) Overall (yellow sky) Pelty (vertical) Pfeister (throwing) F. Smith (Chicago & Boston) Steinfeldt (bat) Tinker (bat off shoulder) Wagner (bat on right shoulder) Doc White (pitching) Wilhelm (bat) Willetts Willis (bat) Wiltse (pitching) Furthermore, here are my predictions of the 460-only Series cards.……….. 460-only series…..Subjects in bold lettering are unconfirmed as of today. Chase (trophy) Latham Marquard (pitching) Merkle (throwing) Schaefer (Washington) Schlei (portrait) Schlei (batting) Seymour (portrait) Wiltse (portrait-cap) TED Z T206 Reference . |
Ted, have you seen the Tinker Bat Off Brown Lenox? Do you have a pic? T206 resource has it as possible but unconfirmed. PSA has it on its pop report, but I think that has to be a mistake and they meant Tinker Bat off.

1st....Ryan, did you mean to say..... Tinker Bat on ? If you look at my above post with respect to the 460-only list, the Tinker Bat on with brown LENOX is highly unlikely. 2nd....I have yet to see a Tinker (bat off shoulder) with a brown LENOX back. But, this f/b combo is possible. TED Z T206 Reference . |
Ted, I cant read -- the ones in bold (which includes Tinker bat off) are not confirmed. Thats what I thought to begin with. Please excuse my illiteracy!
|
So Ted (Hi Ted), can you speak to my earlier question...how many Brown Lenox do you estimate there are in TOTAL? do you think/believe each pose has 2-3 examples(?), most have 1? etc. Just trying to get a feel for total pop.
Thanks! |
