Cool poster, Ron-- particularly the designation of Sergio Rodriguez as "Haiti heavyweight champion", which is totally bogus. The only officially sanctioned bout for the heavyweight championship of Haiti took place on Sept. 5, 1972 at Sylvio Cator Stadium in Port au Prince, which was named for the long jumper who won a silver medal for Haiti at the 1928 Olympics. The fight was won by longtime Canadian champ George Chuvalo, who knocked out Charlie Boston in the second round and never vacated the crown. Rodriguez, who was born in Haiti, fought just once in his home country -- a KO loss to Pedro Agosto on Dec. 12, 1972. your poster is from March 20, 1975 in New Jersey. Rodriguez retired in 1981 with a record of 6 wins, 12 losses and 1 draw. Ten of his losses were by KO.
