Holders for Red Man cards
Hi, I'm looking into picking up a group of these and was wondering what my friends out there store them in. Ideally a rigid holder like BCW type items. Any thoughts?

I have a couple of options that I have used but, the BEST around is made by a company called TCVerification. https://tcverify.com/ Here's the thing...contact Rick. He owns it. Tell him Phil Apostle sent you and you want some Do it yourself kits for Red Man. You will not find a better option. I use Rick for all of my raw and art cards that I sell and collectors often ask where I get my stuff. This guy is a real pro and the cards look fantastic in these holders. |
thx, I appreciate it

I too rolled my own. Back in the 1980's, there were fewer sleeve options available, so I found a small box that was the right size and grabbed several lightweight (about 2-mill, I think) comic sleeves and cut each one into four pieces that were flexible enough (mylar) to be folded over and taped. Results not perfect but good enough for government purposes, as they say.

I don't have many of my sports cards in binders, but I do so for the Redmans. The 4 pocket pages work well as the cards are a good fit (width-wise) and don't bounce around. That also allows you to mix tabbed with non-tabbed cards. And since it only requires just over 50 pages for the complete run, you can get them all into a smaller (2 inch?) binder.
