1987 NBA Finals Larry Bird shoes
 

Happy holidays everyone:

I am really excited about this recent pickup. I acquired a pair of Larry Bird game used Converse Weapons (the first ones pictured) and conclusively matched them to games 4 and 6 of the 1987 Finals. Recall these were the Magic Johnson junior-junior sky hook and the Lakers clinching game respectively. I marched them through the expertise and services of photoresolution.com - John is awesome. I included two pictures of Larry from the games.

I included a picture of my 1986 NBA Finals Bird shoes for comparison. Photoresolution matched these to game 3 and 6 of the 1986 Finals.

So I thought it was cool to show a picture of the shoes Larry wore when he destroyed the Rockets in game 6 to win the finals, and likewise wore when he lost against Showtime in 1987.

Those are sweet. I would try to get some better up close photo shots, but it looks like the same scuffs in the photos. I remember watching these games when I was younger.
