WTB signed 1952 topps cards last call for 2019!

Its been almost TWO YEARS since I've been able to add a new unique signer to my 1952 topps signed set. Please PM with what you got! I'll look at upgrades and doubles as well.

Help greatly appreciated!

It is to my understanding there are no signed examples of Campy.

None graded in red flips yet.

He did shows in jersey for YEARS!

It would be a surprise is he didnt sign a 52.

I would think you would want a quality pre accident autographed card. I have seen the slop signed afterwards, and I am amazed there are those who pay good bucks for this. I was at a show back around 1990 where Campy signed. He had the glove and there were many who walked away (after paying $350.00!) complaining their item was ruined!

What's the difference between Campy's post-accident signature and the scribbles that some of today's guys give out?

I don't have a Campy signature, either pre or post accident, but I did appreciate the effort he made to be able to sign his name despite being paralyzed. No one was forced to hand over their money.

I agree. There were many who were expecting better then what they got, especially for what they doled out. Campy simply needed the money or I doubt he would of done it.

My guy tells me maybe people didnt want to "ruin" a 52 high number. He was just so popular, I imagine a playing days example exists.

Not only "ruin" a 1952 Topps high number, but an expensive one at that!

I would want a period signature to go along with a period piece. Just my way of collecting.
