There is no "I'll take it!"

Gobucsmagic74 12-09-2019 09:57 AM

There’s also no asking price

Foo3112 12-09-2019 10:08 AM

Perhaps him and the buyer want to keep the sale as private as possible and if so, I totally get that on a card this size.

Thank you. The card is sale pending as it says in the description. If that changes I will update and bump the thread. Thanks for everyone’s interest.

I was curious was the asking price was. I assume that was public on the OP's original post.

Your post and the others I quoted are NOT allowed in the BST section. I understand you are new but there is no excuse for the other 2.

If you are really that curious send the OP a private message.

Pease enlighten me as to why it's so wrong to know what the going asking price is for a card where the price had been publicly posted? It helps give the group an idea of the going asking prices for significant cards. I never asked what the offer price was or the final sale price, just the asking price which just a day earlier had been posted prior to me viewing this thread.

Thanks Ben. Much appreciated

Despite what many like to think...the sales of baseball cards is not a perfect marketplace. Leaving prices on the BST after a sale has taken place is up to the seller.

The Buy/Sell Forum is just that. For buying and selling. It's not for information purposes nor for card porn. If the buyer/seller wish to disclose the details of their transaction, it's entirely up to them. There is nothing compelling buyer or seller to publicly disclose terms of a sale. I understand there might be curious parties, particularly with a card of this stature, but that still does not compel buyer or seller to disclose anything.

Gobucsmagic74 12-10-2019 02:57 PM

I don't really see the harm in asking knowing full and well that the buyer/seller are under no obligation to disclose

+1 it’s his own business not mine. Good Luck to all
