Photo Help! 1921 Baseball Team from Ohio
 

Found this large framed photo of a random baseball team from 1921. The uniforms and caps have no insignia, but the photo is from Baker Art Gallery which I believe was in Columbus, Ohio. Maybe OSU, Mud Hens, Indians? No clue... any help would be appreciated.

Dave Danforth was a member of the 1919 Black Sox. Didn't get into the Series though.

These sized photos were generally given to the players on the team. I have a few from Mpls Millers and St Paul Saints. You sometimes see them signed by the entire team and can sometimes determine the player by who didn’t sign it. The ones I have are about 14x22 if I remember correctly.

This one is unsigned but I have yet to take it out of the frame. The backing is still in tact. Should I just leave it, or will there possibly be info on the back?

I understand there may be different feelings on this, but if it were mine, I would check the back, but also check to be sure that the materials used in the original framing are not potentially destructive to the photo. If so, replace them with archival material.
