T206 original artwork

I have a recurring dream that I stumble upon the original artwork for t206's. Anyone have any speculation as to what might have happen to them or any other tobacco card artwork? Ive assumed that most must have been kept throughout the tees to be used in the coupon sets but maybe the original artwork wasnt needed to created them?
As far as value I would assume original painting from a tobacco card would be pretty priceless with commons in tens of thousands of dollars and hofers valued at well past 100k but who knows?

A member here once posted an image of a photograph. The original photo was used to create a dozen or so T206 cards. I think they were New York Giants.

I realize this is a bit different than the artwork. Still, I would love to own a photo like this, one from which a tobacco card was made.

I saved a pic of the photo you are talking about. If they can find hundreds of one hundred year old mint cards in grandpa's attic, why not all of the original artwork. I would start my search in Ohio.

There used to be some good stuff on Scott's site here, but the links are dead now.

Maybe someone archived those images?

Here's my original Horner of Bob Ewing. This photo wasn't used to make his T206 but it was used to make his T204 and Fan Craze cards:

I too have the same dream about finding the original artwork. Not only for T206 - it would be pretty awesome for any T card. I know some of it exists for Exhibits, but I don't recall seeing anything earlier than those.

Here is my Ellam RPPC that was used to make his T206 card.

The original artwork for both issued and unissued cards in the Diamond Stars set has appeared in auctions over the years, and the Werber is currently on Ebay.
