This link has a picture of a silver belt buckle given out in 1923to the players on the team. Looks different then the one you posted pictures of.

The HOF sent me a message stating that their buckle was donated by Ashland KY in 1985 and they don't have any information that it came from a certain player. A couple of ticket stubs and a few other items were also donated.

This could have been the players Championship belt and the Sterling silver one in the HOF could have been the owners or manager considering the ECL didn't have much money to give out awards.

Negro League Championship memorabilia is so incredibly rare we may never know the answer to this belt buckle. It's hard to stump this board but I believe in this instance it has happened.

Does yours have any hallmarks?

No Hallmark as I don't believe it is made of a precious metal. I've looked really hard.
