Help with vintage golf autos
5 Attachment(s)
Recently picked up this book at a local auction in a box lot of books..didn't even know it was signed until I bought the lot and opened the book up. Some are clearly easy..I assume that Sam Snead made the little doodle of the golfer?? There are autographs on here I don't recognize. Any help appreciated. Thanks

I see Julius Boros, and under him, Leo Diegel.
Diegel died in 1951. I just found where the first edition of the book is dated 1948, so that leaves a three-year period where it was probably signed. Steve |
I buy and sell a fair amount of vintage golf signatures and I don’t recognize a few of those. The book is fairly common as are ones signed by Hogan. The entire group might make it a little bit of a tougher sell, but it’s still a neat piece. I think the signature on the bottom might be a rushed Johnny Goodman. He’s tough, died in 1970. Diegel is obviously tough too.
