Opinion on Speaker auto
2 Attachment(s)
I was wondering what your opinions are on this Speaker ball? Seller says it has been lacquered. I already own an authentic speaker signature I bought from Lelands. To me, the baseball looks wrong for the era, but he lived into the 1950s, so maybe its possible. But didn't lacquer-balls die out by the 1950s?

Could be from one of our favorites. |
They also didn’t generally stain their signed balls with tea or coffee back in the 50’s.

Come on guys. Of course it's real. Why else would he be offering the rock solid guarantee of "No Returns"

I'm just shocked the Speaker has 12 bids and sits at $100. I do think it's a fairly nice forgery of his signature, though. Someone took their time to learn his pattern of swirls and loops.

You’d think after getting burned on the first one the seller would have gotten a third party opinion on this one.
