His television series namesake on the first televised western series only hopped along until 1972.
A few of us on the forum probably saw more of the 105 television cowboy episodes than the buckeye on the gridiron in the early 50s. |

One of my favorite pieces is a game worn Yankees jersey that had Hop's name in it, then was re-numbered with #7.
So I have a real Hop "game used" jersey. |
