Real or Fake?
Any help is aprectd! |
Don't know why you'd fake this in such terrible condition does someone need $15 that badly? That being said, the corners look ground down the black border around the picture bothers me, and the overall flatness of the color on the front is weird. The back looks good lol.
|
Fake. That card should have either a 350 or 460 back not a 150 back.
|
Agreed. It's almost certainly good in terms of authencity and bad in terms of condition.
|
Good catch Bill. EDIT: To be real it would have to be a rebacked card, but the wear isn't right and the colors on the back look off too.

Agreed that its an impossible combo, but I also think the entire thing is fake.
|
Definitely fake....
as there is no "Orevall" card in the T206 set. :D |
Took a closer look and I agree with this actually, so I am going to change my earlier post.

Overall would have been a popular player and a nice card to have at the time. He had 3 cards in the "T206 set". He led the NL in strikeouts and shutouts in 1909. Injury cut short his career. The back is not known as a 150 as y'all have pointed out.

I don't think it's an authentic reprint. It is a fake reprint. And "Overall" it's still a yucky looking card.

I did pick up one or two at school, but they all had that sort of damage. They just didn't fit well in most kids pockets. |
