Please, Help w/ Signature identification 1955 ASG Ball 9 Attachment(s) I'm attempting to help a friend and not having much luck. Any help would be appreciated. I've only identified Wynn, Lopez and Cuccinnello. Thanks a ton! |

Are you sure it is a 1955 All-Star game ball? I Googled the roster and do not see a Lopez or Cuccinello on either team. One signature on the ball does kind of look like it says, "Strickland" on it. Maybe you have a 1954 Cleveland Indians team signed ball? Wynn was on the team and Lopez and Cuccinelo were Coaches. David |

I think David is correct.....I see Dave Philley between Lemon and Cuccinello and Bill Lobe (first image)was a coach on the Indians |

I concur with the two aforementioned gentlemen - based on coaches (Lopez, Lobe, Cuccinello, Harder) and a number of players that I could identify, this appears to be either a 1954 or 1955 Cleveland Indians team signed ball. Not complete, but a partial team ball (as I couldn't make out some of the more desirable signatures such as Doby or Easter - but again, they could be there, I just couldn't tell from the pictures). Also, one key identifier is the Dave Philley signature - he only played for Cleveland for the 1954 season and parts of 1955 before being traded to Baltimore. Hope this helps a bit! |
