T206 end of print run stamp
Can anybody share some info? Is this the "end of the run" stamp?

Just a stamp applied post-factory.

That's a really nice card, though. I guess my Sweeney would grade a "1".

Interesting that your stamp is Nov 8, 1910. I happen to have one date stamp posted on my website (well, two now since I just posted yours as well ;)) and it is also Nov 8, 1910. Both happen to be my birthday, a few years before I was actually born of course, but you know what I mean. :)

That's quite a coincidence about the date. I guess the same person was blotting his ink blotter date stamp on the backs of cards that day. Here are 2 more for your project...a Griffith Tisdale and Howell Sat Evening Post...

Thanks bro. The Saturday Evening Post was a new stamp for me but I actually already have that Nelson Tisdel stamp documented.

Agreed. Added by a collector with maybe the date he received the card. There is even a Honus Wagner with one of these date stamps on it. The date back stamps pop up from time to time. They don't seem to have any bonus for it.

John is correct, these date stamps pop up fairly commonly and don't really have a premium over some other stamps. I only just started posting them on my site because I found the one with my birthday on it.
Here is the Wagner back with the date stamp on it. . |
Love them stamps

I have Doc Casey with the same date. It was also graded a 1.5 by SGC.

That's great and very interesting that there are so many with Nov 8, 1910 on them. I hope you don't mind but I added your image to my site. Thanks, Andy |
