Nellie Fox Original Photos?
Hi, everyone. I purchased a group of photos at the National that were said to be sourced from Fox’s wife. I really don’t know much about photos, and was hoping someone here could help. The lot are all supposedly original photos from 1948. Looking at he front and back of this example, do you guys believe these could be originals?

Yes, it is original. Appears to be a shot of him in Lincoln, Nebraska. Looks like the sign behind him could be Skyline which was a local dairy company.
Some of his stuff was recently in a Leland's auction which was also attributed to his wife. This photo may have come from the scrapbook which was all photos of his time in Lincoln. |
