Buck "Large Ass" Herzog Net54baseball T-Shirts?
1 Attachment(s)
So what is the consensus on the new Net54baseball T shirts, yet to be decided on or made, with respect to subject content? I really like Buck being on it but don't want to make a decision that most, who want a t shirt, won't like.
When the very first ones were made, quite a few years ago, there were not that many T shirts with baseball cards on them. I think the first one we did was with a D304 Cobby. Now shirts with cards on them are all over the place, which is great. However, there wouldn't be any others with Buck on them if we do the Ts with him. |
I love it. Count me in as a purchaser!
|
I'll buy two or three!
|
I love the idea and would buy one but I have question .
Will the shirt be torn and creased like the pictured card ? |
I'm In!!
Great idea Leon, and none too soon. I just ruined my last white Net54 t-shirt and my wife won't be seen with me in my neon lime green version!! :D

I'm in, Leon. Good idea!

Now, i finally know what 'large ass' meant all this time.
I had no clue what it meant until i saw the back of the card. T-shirt- I loved my Babe Ruth shirt for many yrs, until it got worn out, and it was the lime green one too. But- i am not a huge fan of the Buck card, When i did wear it around, people noticed Ruth right away and so did several kids, so i was leaning toward Mickey Mantle. (51 or 52) And i talking about a FULL COVERAGE -ALL OVER , not just the pocket area. or another sugggestion- (as full coverage)--A bunch of T206 cards all over the shirt, much like a collage art shirt. BTW- theres are some of us that are large asses, so consider some 4-5xl shirts |
Personally...and don't take this the wrong way Leon...but I think the overall design of the shirt needs a refresh.
Personally I'd skip the tiny net54 in the left boob area and make the nnetwork54 logo cover the whole front of the shirt...like the logo on the topleft with the baseball...then have a collage on the back. I'd buy this shirt!!!!:p |

Might look into this. I guess I am old school with the T shirts..Will consider large designs on both sides....or anything else. Thanks for everyone's thoughts so far. |
Sounds like a job for Tim Carroll?

The front of the shirt should simply say:
“Have you ever seen a large ass?” The back of the shirt be a large rendition of the Herzog card, both sides. Perhaps a modest Net54Baseball logo on the right sleeve as well. |
So, after more thought, and with this in mind....the current thinking is just what you said. A large picture of the front of the card in the slab on the front and a large picture of the back in the slab, on the back. Then a large Net54baseball logo across the top of each one.... We will see...Thanks again for the suggestion.

Sounds Great! I may become more popular than the Ruth Goudey...maybe Maybe a script line that says something like, 'this guy has seen more than you ever could' - or of that nature...but, that current concept will be involved enough |

The exact team-issued Boston sweater he is wearing from the card with "L.A. HERZOG" on the back would be paramount. |
I need an XL, because, unfortunately, I also have a large ass....

At some point would love to see one with Ted Williams on it.:) Glad you are doing this. I had to throw out the 7 or 8 shirts I had a few months ago because they were worn out. |
