1952 Topps Frank House yellow tiger
2 Attachment(s)
I recently sent a 1952 Topps (#146) Frank House in for PSA grading. I did it because it was a very yellow tiger face and tongue. I received the card back as a PSA 3.5. When I submitted the card, I made note that it was the yellow face and tongue. Much to my surprise, PSA graded it with a "yellow tiger" notation. It is the first PSA graded card with the variation noted according to the PSA population report. Obviously there are many others out there, but it was previously unrecognized by PSA.

Rick,
That's nice to hear. FINALLY! Unfortunately I can't enlarge your pic and can't see the label. I've bought and sold about 10 of these cards over the years. They were always fun to find. The only one I have left is an autographed one. Thought you might enjoy it. |
Wow, you have a wonderful card and it's amazing how many you have found over the years. I tried to add a bigger scan, and although it is bigger, it is nowhere near the size or clarity of your scan.

Rick ... Thanks for the additional scan. It's nice that PSA has finally acknowledged the error.

Very interesting. Like others, I am also glad to see a TPG has now recognized it as a variable.
(Trying a bigger pic of the OP's card) Edit: No luck. |
