More Asterisks?
Will any batting records achieved by the Red Sox and Yankees this year require an asterisk due to the London Series’ impact on compiled stats?
I guess the WAR in London isn’t over. |

Okay, there are 20 runs today through 8 innings, and 50 for the two-game series. I bet you won't have trouble finding teams to head to London for a few days. It's a hitter's paradise, for some reason.

The series did spawn two new kind-of cool trivia questions:
1.) Who is the only player to play on three continents during the same season? 2.) Who is the only player to hit two doubles in the same inning in Europe? . |
The record for the most runs in consecutive Red Sox/Yankee games was broken in London, so is the prior record still a valid American record.:D

Perhaps not a record but .............
Name a team that won 2 games in a row scoring 29 runs and used 15 or more pitchers to accomplish the feat (or fete if you consider the British point of view).
