To borrow a line from Carly Simon, I guess you thought this post was about you. Since you asked, yes, I would like to see proper decorum on this board, befitting of gentlemen. I doubt many others here would disagree.

Leon, I didn't single anyone out when I proposed banning exclamation points. He took offense and singled me out, apparently assuming that I was referring to him specifically. So I responded.

Do you believe it's appropriate for sellers to use exclamation points in the headlines for their listings? I believe it's an eyesore, an annoyance, and unbecoming of this board that you run so well. What do you say?

Come on, it's easy if you try. I mean, if someone really, absolutely had to use an exclamation point in a headline, that person could always turn it upside down by typing a lowercase i instead, and it still would be in full compliance with the ban.

Ah, we have a winner. But we'd all be winners if we didn't have to suffer through any more exclamation points in B/S/T listings.

They should be banned once and for all, at least from headlines . . . iiiiiiiiiiii

When you're the one doing the exclamation points, it doesn't seem to be quite as annoying as when others do it. As you were. Carry on.
