Late 1950s stars and semistars

I get a $40 card allowance every week. I know it's not the hundreds or thousands some of you spend weekly. But it's what I have to deal with. Instead of buying a couple of blasters that will yield $1 in cards, or going to the LCS and buying a few random packs, I decided to put it into vintage. I'm just getting going on my vintage collection (again) after being forced to sell all of my vintage for family expenses. So I'm starting over.

I'm looking for the best card or couple of cards (no more than 3-4) that I can buy from the 1950s-1965. I'm not looking for any year in particular as I try and decide what set I want to try and build first. I'm leaning toward 1953T, 1957T or 1958T (I have already built one 1958T but was forced to sell it). So if you have any from those years, it's a plus.

Looking for mostly Ex cards (maybe VG-Ex) with decent centering, no paper loss, no creases, no writing or pin holes. Fuzzy corners are okay. I don't deal in graded. So not really interested in graded.

Again, no particular players. Just looking for stars and semistars. If $40 gets me one solid HOFer from the early 1960s, so be it. If it gets me 4 $10 cards from the 50s, so be it. I just have money to spend. Don't want to buy on ebay right now.

I would sell these 1954 Topps Rizzuto and Doby for $40.

I'd take them, but I see you've listed them in an auction before I could get back to you. Good luck moving them.

You offered me $33 because you said you could buy the same quality of cards for $37 on eBay. Then reoffered me the same $33 so you DID get back to me. Now you want to pay $40 for cards you told me you could buy on eBay cheaper. I am done here, you can now bid on them or add me to a list of people you won't deal with. I don't care but don't come on here and act like I did something wrong.

You did nothing wrong brother. Didn't mean to portray you did. It's all good. And I'm not sure about a list of people I don't deal with. There's nobody on here I wouldn't consider dealing with. I consider everyone here my friends and trading partners.
