New York Penn League Championshio Ring I'm not near a major league baseball Club, so I like the intimacy of the minor leagues. Besides the magnets, the t-shirts and posters, sometimes the giveaways are pretty good. A stitched ball cap, a cool bobblehead.... But our local club won the New York Penn League last season. (Houston Astros affiliate) As a tribute to the fans, 1,500 replica rings were given to the first numbered through the gates. It's heavy and it's big, and came in a nice commemorative velvet bag. Anyone else have something similar? https://i.postimg.cc/zvDwJzQw/1560824568970.jpg |

The Tulsa Drillers won the Texas League championship last year, and they did the same thing. The rings are pretty substantial, and come on a little display stand. kevin |

Kevin, that's cool. Would love to see a picture. I also like to see more stadium giveaways. |

I will try to remember to take a picture of it tonight and post tomorrow. It's at the house and not here at the office. kevin |

The Tri-City Valley Cats come into Brooklyn to play the Cyclones at MCU Park in Coney Island. I've seen them a couple of times over the years. |

Pecos league Big game coming up in the Pecos League. The Bakersfield Train Robbers vs the Roswell Invaders. I am a fan of the many oddball team names of the minor league teams. |

Minor league games are fun, and you do get to see the occasional future major leaguer. A couple of years ago I was at the Cyclones final game of the season, and their starting pitcher that night was Noah Syndergaard, who had missed a chunk of the Mets season with injuries and was making a rehab start. That was really cool. |
