I have a three card lot of the 1952 Topps baseball set. Included in this lot are:

-Robin Roberts #59 Black Back
This is a beautiful card. No creases, incredible gloss but there is an issue with the bottom corners in that there is missing paper. I can only imagine this is exactly what the infamous cards came out of the packs looking like.....with fully intact bottom corners of course.

-Red Schoendienst #91 Red Back
This card has a few creases that do not take away from the overall look of the card and some corner issues. This would be a great card for a collectors grade collection.

-Dale Mitchell #92 Red Back
Creases, corner issues and wear. I think the picture speaks for itself.

Asking $20.00 with free shipping

It is my opinion, and some others, that some of the 52 Topps cards came with corner pulls right out of the packs.
In my short time collecting 52 Topps cards, I have noticed this many times, although most seem to be the upper right corners rather than other corners.

My Al Rosen card with a similar, but not removed corner pull.

I had never heard about corner pulls in the '52 Topps set. Any idea what may have caused this? The wax being sealed onto the card? Any other ideas?
