The Pendulum is Swinging Back to Sellers on Ebay - Bid Retractions etc...
From a source of mine at ebay who helps me with fraudulent listings sometimes...We were having a discussion and sellers being abused came up. While I don't think the discussion about alterations vs restoration vs conservation needed to take place, PWCC did do some good with the bid retractions. Not perfect but more than most anyone else from what I have seen.
"The pendulum is definitively swinging back towards seller protections from abusive buyers so we will see where it goes, between us it is a shame PWCC won’t get the credit they deserve as most of the anti-retraction infrastructure in place today was from their continued advocacy. You’ll find it interesting to know, bid retractions are specifically called out in the most recent seller protections segment of the April Seller Release." https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center...ml#m22_tb_a1_2 . |

I clicked your link Leon. I see no way to report "Invalid Bid Retractors". Shoot, I just had one tonight. He didn't like how high the bid had gotten, and wanted out. I don't need that kind of bidder bidding in my auctions. edwa_ferr is the ID if anyone cares.

btw, the member suspended in this thread quickly gave a good phone number to file and was reinstated immediately after that. And a Dockman with a (likely) missing ink pass...What is a thread without a card? http://luckeycards.com/e92mcgraw.jpg |
