1890's Cabinet cards - baseball
 

Looking for some help on some early cabinet baseball cards, they are listed a "collotype reproductions" - a very old method of reproducing images....anyone familiar with these cards? Thoughts on their value?

They look more like colorectal reproductions-I would back away. The Gray cabinet was originally from 1887; the Boston cabinet was originally from the 1870s.

Several years ago a number of items that looked like this were offered on eBay from a seller in Great Britain. They were clearly reproductions. When they were produced I couldn’t say, but I would also pass.
