USPS Ready Post Boxes Warning

A heads up to any one shipping. I received two packages today from a Sterling Sports Auctions consignor that had purchased USPS Ready Post boxes. Both had big tears in them on the corners because the quality of the boxes are absolutely terrible. Thank goodness nothing was damaged.

Hi Lee--

If you are talking about the boxes you can buy from that display in the PO, you are absolutely right!--they are very thin & cheezy!

I actually looked at some this AM & wouldn't buy them --they don't even state the weight they will support!

Why wouldn't they just use the free priority mail boxes? Those are very sturdy.

Sometimes those boxes are not quite large enough.

Yes this^, the post office’s free Priority Mail boxes. If fact some of my cards might be heading to Sterling Sports Auctions in this type of box soon!

Yes, I am talking about the Ready Post boxes you have to pay for. I use the priority boxes all the time with little to no problem.

Marcos, just let me know when you are ready to consign.

Lee
