comic book heros ? What ? Wow !
 

Wow, what did they do to Aquaman ?... saw preview of new movie coming out..the guy looks like some heavy metal dude from Pantera /Black Flag/ Black Sabbath !
what happened to the clean cut handsome guy in green outfit with green scales and all that !

"Preview"? That movie hit theatres before Christmas. Not sure what Aquaman's looked like in the comix
the last several years, and maybe we'd be bothered if we'd been fans of the old DC comix,
but we didn't think the movie was half bad. Unlike almost every other comix superhero movie,
with the exceptions of Sam Raimi's first two SpiderMan flicks, both Guardians of the Galaxy movies,
Wonder Woman, and possibly Doctor Strange.

I mean, Aqua Man was one of the least popular characters so I don't see a whole lot of success coming out of some cookie-cutter by the numbers Aqua Man movie. The entire genre suffers from a lack of interesting character work. I was happy to see a super hero with a personality a la Iron Man.

I may be remembering wrong, but I thought Aquaman had an orange shirt to go with green bottoms.
