I disagree. Horton's signature is tough because he always kind of signed in a heavy hand, but this one looks especially heavy. It appears jagged and labored in some areas upon close inspection. It also doesn't match favorably when compared to smaller details in his known signatures. Personally I would pass and I look for early hockey items often. Horton is tough, but not rare. He still commands good money and a bold signature on a card like this is a good target for forgers. Bottom line is for me it just doesn't feel right.
