...at home, anyway:
Once again, let's check out those splits: Arenado at Coors: .320 / .609 / .984 Arenado elsewhere: .263 / .469 / .787 but Gold Glove everywhere. ================================ Helton at Coors: .345 / .607 / 1.048 Helton elsewhere: .287 / .469 / .855 ================================ Walker at Home at Coors: .380 / .712 / 1.042 Walker elsewhere while with Colorado: .281 / .513 / .794 ================================ |
The disparity for Walker is truly astonishing.

Arenado is no fool. He’s going to have a HOF career. These guys who leave the Rockies are never heard from again. He knows he has a good thing going.

These splits are quite eye opening. It seems like Walker was the strongest away from Coors of the 3 players mentioned. I'd be curious to see some pitching splits as well!
This is just from 2018, Kyle Freeland, who oddly seemed to pitch better at Coors than away: W. L. ERA. WHIP. IP Home: 10. 2. 2.40. 1.174. 93.2 Away: 7. 5. 3.23. 1.307. 108.2 Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |
