Clemens bat help

Are you guys ok with this one? It looked good to me and I got excited about it being on a Clemens game bat so I bought before asking. What do you think?

I have several Clemens autos. Looks good to me.

I also checked the bat brands from factory and it matches 1986-89 models for Clemens. Being a AL player I am guessing he did not need to order too many bats. As a long time Clemens fan I am pretty geeked up about purchase. I do have to admit I spent several years (in my head) pissed off at him over the steroid scandal and the way he handled it. Life too short to hold grudges..maybee one day I will even forgive A-ROD...Bonds and McGuire most likely never.:):)

Awesome Pick Up!!! The auto looks good to me when compared to ones I have.

I don't think the bat is a professional model. I have seen several like yours with a line under the 125. I can't remember exactly what they are but am sure they are not player issued. Even when Mears sold one 2 years ago they didn't list it as a game used or professional model.

That is correct. Hard to tell on the EBay pics (on my phone at least). An underlined 125 = promotional/retail bat.

Interesting info guys!!! Learn something all the time. I wasn't thinking bat was ever "game Used" just thought it could be same type bat Clemens used. I was more out for the autograph than anything. This was my first Clemens auto.

met the Rocket while he was managing the Bridgeport Bluefish a few years back. He had a lot of class, and went out of his way to sign autos for the fans.
