Up for grabs is a lightly used copy of Lew Lipset's iconic "Encyclopedia Of Baseball Cards". This is the three volume combined version purchased by me a few years ago. The cover shows very light wear. There are no marks or writing on the inside and the binding is like new. Bidding starts at $5.00. Payment via Paypal Goods. A great reference book and a must have for the preWW2 collector. If I didn't already have a copy, I would be bidding on this. Good luck everyone.

I have all 3 volumes, but have always wondered: Why did Lipset stop at 3 volumes? This was originally supposed to include volumes that dealt with W cards, R cards, etc. Anyone know?

Lew originally planned six volumes, the final three covering food, periodical, strips and gum cards. There are many, myself included, who wish he would have completed this project.
