Is this for real?

http://https://www.ebay.com/itm/TOUG...WrML:rk:3:pf:0 Our friend toppsaholic recently put up a 1971 Bazooka Carl Yastrzemski PSA 6 on eBay but there is an obvious problem with the card. The card has none of the white border around the photo. Did someone crack out a bona fide PSA 6 card and insert the heavily trimmed card or could PSA have made such a huge blunder? Even if the card was recognized being cut this way I would think the heavy edge wear would keep it from being a 6. The scan on the left is the card I am referring to, the scan on the right is what a 1971 Bazooka is supposed to look like. ETA: My link isn't working so I added another scan.

The slab does not look damaged to me. Would guess that PSA just goofed and didn't realize it was supposed to have a border.

Cliff---glad you have befriended the guy :)

Well, you could report it to PSA and they will attempt to buy it back. But I would expect that it's a PSA error and should have received an Authentic grade.

He got so mad at me and some others on CU that he started dropping F bombs and was booted. I don't think I know him.

On a flip that early I wouldn't be surprised at a PSA screwup. They still screwup things like team issue cards all the time by mis-identifying the year. Why they seem not to maintain an image library for their own reference for these things is difficult to fathom, given that basic identification is the backbone of their business.
