Season's Greetings
Hope every one's Christmas is Merry. And, Wishing you all a very Happy New Year.
An annual event, we were at the re-enactment of Washington crossing the Delaware at the Historic Park in Pennsylvania (7 miles south of our home). The Crossing was a significant event in the Revolutionary War. In the Summer - Fall of 1776, The British had won a series of battles in New York and New Jersey. On Christmas Day 1776, Washington and his troops were victorious in the Battle of Trenton. This event led to several major victories for our Patriots......which eventually won our Independence from the British. http://photos.imageevent.com/tedzan7...rossingeve.jpg Midnite muster......George Washington preparing the troops to cross the Delaware River on Christmas eve 1776.
