As a sometimes consignor I really want someone to explain to me why it's a good idea to have my item close at 6 am EST. And if it is such a grand idea how come no other business model on the face of the earth operates this way. How come Sotherbys doesn't sell $600 million paintings this way?
I don't participate in anything that goes much beyond midnight. Too old, too cranky, and need my 'effin sleep. |
Do they auction cards or just memorabilia?
|
Have tried not to hijack too often, but this is a good time to point out that our first online Pre War Auction the lots extended individually. 80% of the auction closed at 9:15 Eastern.

Can't you enter a max bid and just got to bed?
|
Can you? Yes
Should you? That's debatable |

Funny thing is, there were no bids on the item I was interested in, once I placed my final bid 20 minutes into extended bidding. The auction went another 8 hours and 40 minutes with no bids on the item. Steve |
