Most valuable card

If a card came up for auction, what do you think would be the most valuable baseball card?
I think the t206 Wagner psa 8 would get the highest sales price.
52 mantle Topps PSA 10 would go high too obviously but it’s a pop 3 versus only one of the Wagner psa 8. So I think the bidding would be most competitive for the Wagner.
Also I know there is controversy over the Wagner but I think that the publicity would actually increase its value.

I agree the Gretzsky Wagner.

The one 1914 Baltimore News Babe Ruth in VG+(?) or one of the 1952 PSA 10 Mantles.

A good thread that's been done before.

Best wishes,

Larry

This or one of the high grade ungraded Wagners. T206 is king of the hobby. There is a reason Ken Kendrick was offered 10 million dollars for his PSA 8 Wagner and not his PSA 10 Mantle.

it's a tie

between T206 Wagner BN Ruth and 52 Topps....

those top three....

I would say in pristine:

1) BN Ruth
2) Wagner
3)Mantle

What is the highest graded BN Ruth anyway? Is there one in NM condition to compete with the Gretzky Wagner and the Jumbo Wagner?

The only BN Ruths that I'm aware of are in poor or fair condition.

PSA has a "4" that would never get a "4" nowadays. SGC has a "3" that I haven't seen.

There is always a chance there could be more "Find" cards which surface. It's rare, but what if there was another stash of Cobb-back T-206 Cobbs, or a few additional high grade (above EX, anyway) Wagners found? You never know. Of the cards we know about today, I would agree with the previous posts - but I don't think Mr. Kendrick is going to open up his safe anytime soon.
