Can anyone tell me the year of this photo, who produced it and the market value? Photo measures 6 1/2 X 9. I cannot seem to find this one anywhere. I've found some similar photos but not this one. Thanks in advance!!

How sturdy or thin is the paper ? Is it glossy or dull ? Can you put up a fuller scan ? Als you could post this in the section for photos--- look at the other forum page choices.

I have the same photo. It looks exactly like the 1939 Sporting News photo. The Sporting News photos are 7 1/2" x 10". My photo, is 6 3/4" x 9 3/4" and it does not have the Sporting News info in the top left corner. The back is blank.

So, I'm not sure if these are cut-down Sporting News photos or if they are from another vendor.

I also have a similar Bob Feller photo.

As far as values, the Standard Catalog lists the Joe as $60 in VG, $100 in EX, and $200 in NM. The Feller is $45/$75/$150.
