Vintage DiMaggio
 

My buddy bought this at an estate sale and asked my opinion because he knows I collect. It’s on an unofficial ball and very faded. I told him I THINK it’s real, but I’m not a DiMaggio expert. I also guessed it to be worth about $200. Any help on authenticity and price that I can pass on to him would be appreciated.

Thanks, Setbuilder! Anyone have an opinion on value? My friend has someone offering $200, which seems fair given how faded the autograph is.

Value is minimal in that condition. I say take the deal.

It's an authentic signature with salutation that you can't read on a s*** ball on a side panel...worth about 50 bucks IMHO...

Yeah what he said!!!! lol...200 bucks for a faded sig on a "shit" ball...I would take it for sure!!!!
