Not for sale: 1953 Bowman Minoso
3 Attachment(s)
Presenting a very nice example of what I consider to be one of the classic baseball cards of the post-war era: a 1953 Bowman Color #36 Orestes "Minnie" Minoso.
As you can see, this card is extremely well-centered, and is overall very clean both front and back. There is one problem, however: a small triangular bit of the top layer of paper has chipped away from the reverse. It's not visible from the front, but it does obviously knock the technical grade of this otherwise beautiful card down quite a bit. For that reason, I have decided not to sell this card. I am by no means a high-volume seller on Net54, but I just don't like the idea of accepting money for what are essentially damaged goods. A small crease or pencil mark is one thing. But paper loss? Nah, can't do it. Instead, I will send this flawed beauty, at no charge, to the first person who replies to this post. Congrats on reading all the way to the end. And enjoy your free Minoso card. |
I'll take this but I could pay something, it is a sharp looking card!

Wow, that was fast!
Nope, no money, Todd. Just send me your address. Cheers, PC |

Keep an eye on the B/S/T, Tom. I usually put cards up for “not sale” a couple times a year...
