Altered reprint big time!
1 Attachment(s)
I say fake. The white paper at the bottom of the card screams altered. Ne1 else have a different opinion?

But even if authentic, that card is completely obliterated. I wouldn't pay more than $200 for it even if authentic. It's horrible. |
If it was real, it would be worth a lot more than $200. A hellava lot more.

Not enough card left. It's next to worthless. |
Plank is one of the big 4.

We're talking Plank. Compare to a Wagner.
"The T206 Eddie Plank is not only the set's second most valuable card, but is arguably the hobby's second rarest and most valuable card behind the T206 Wagner. " |
Take a look at the printing under 40x magnification and you should be able to see some trace of the original printing.
If it's real, I would be shocked if anyone pays more than $1,000 for that card. |
As I stated above, it's fake. The white at the bottom of the card says that. Wrong card stock. But if it was real...mega bucks.
|
I don't think it matters much if a reprint is altered or not.

Reprint without question
|
It looks like a reprint that has been abused to make it appear older. And I think that if it was real, it would sell in the thousands. It's still a Plank. There is a Wagner in Memory Lane that was in terrible shape before it was restored. It still sold for over $200K before the restoration.
