No one?

Greatest players in the game and basically giving them away. Yet no takers.

For a lot of collectors, such as myself, the writing on the front makes the cards less desirable, that may be what you are running into here, because they are great players for sure

I know, and that's why I have them priced so low. I figured someone might pick them up for trade bait. Heck, the Maris alone sells for $30, which is more than half my asking price.

I have an Aaron rookie, 1954 Topps that no one wants because of writing on the front!

See that's nuts to me. I'd pay something for it just to say I have one. Unlike most people, I'll never be able to afford one in NM condition or better. So I'd have to settle for one with writing or something like that (just no creases or paper loss).

Fuss

I don't get what the fuss is, big writing like that means you will be lucky to get 5% of book, and book is b.s., especially with #1 cards in a set they are usually way inflated for cards that aren't NM, I basically see $30-ish worth of cards there and then you need to find the collector that pays for THAT LOW grade of card.

Sad but true. Pretty much anything postwar with writing like that is going to go for peanuts. Collecting such cards can be fun though!
