Original 1936 Sporting News Artwork - Pinky Higgins - Red Sox
 

Very cool one of a kind piece - the original artwork used in the December 17, 1936 issue of the Sporting News, highlighting Higgins trade to the Red Sox, where he would have back to back 106 RBI seasons before moving on to the Tigers.

The three time all-star still holds the record along with Walt Dropo for most consecutive hits in at bats with 14.

Artwork measures 6 3/4 " x 10". Editing notations, Sporting News stamp, and the nice beginnings of some vintage football artwork on the back!

This would look very sharp nicely matted and framed.

$35 plus 3 for postage - check or paypal.

Too much cool stuff, and not enough room to display it all, so hoping to get this to someone who will appreciate it. Happy collecting!
